2007 ENERGY TOUR: Day 10 July 4, 2007Happy Independence Day! We spent a wonderful day with friends in Rockford, Illinois. We attended the largest fireworks display in the state of Illinois, a musical and fireworks production. We had the opportunity to talk to a few people about renewable energy and biodiesel and were interested to know that some people have never heard of biodiesel. I guess that is part of the reason we are on this tour, to help people become more aware of the renewable energy sources that are available to them. We are also, on this July 4th, grateful for the freedoms we enjoy in this country, for the freedom to innovate, gather, educate, and travel across the country in freedom. Our desire is to help make our country better, cleaner, greener, and less dependent on foreign energy sources.  |
