2007 ENERGY TOUR: Day 3 June 27, 2007Like most family road trips this one hasn't been with out its challenges. We were in a minor accident that removed one of the storage doors from the RV. It will take a couple of weeks to be replaced. When we stopped for food in Roy, Utah, we noticed the motor home had a fuel leak. We made an appointment at the Ray Citte RV dealership in Roy for in the morning. We will be unable to make our appointment at NREL tomorrow. Needless to say this hasn't been the ideal day in a family vacation, but we will proceed. On a more positive note the headline in the Idaho Statesman today read "Nuke Plant Secures Funding". According to the article it could have the ability to meet the power needs of 2/3 of Idaho's residential population. After our fantastic tour of INL on Monday we thought this was very interesting news and look forward to learning more about this project
